GoodChip and wheelgymming
5 GoodGymers made their way to help their local community in Haringey.
- Sunday, 21st of August 2016
Five runners went to GoodGym’s monthly mission to Crouch End Open Space – our biggest turnout yet!
There were a variety of tasks to get stuck into. Frances and Paul shovelled woodchip into wheelbarrows and used it to help repair the paths around the space, with Paul managing an incredible amount of energy for someone who’d already run 13 miles to get the mission!
Meanwhile, Steve, Julia and Senay helped out at the other side of the meadow with tasks including carrying gravel in wheelbarrows and pruning and weeding!
After a couple of hours of hard work we were treated to an excellent spread, including quiche, banquettes, salmon and cider. An afternoon well spent!
