The weather had been horrible all day long...bad enough to frighten away the hardiest of GoodGymers.....however four bright, good looking, and courageous runners turned up ready for the task at hand!

It was great to have Daniela back and as a full fledged member too! Great to have you on the team! Give her a cheer and some support! Sean, lovely to have you back again, we'll do more flyer drops if it means you come and hang out more often!

This evening took us to the Life Centre on Wimborne Road, where Bournemouth Community Church are based. It was the first time we had helped them out and they used the new task referral option on the website to ask for help! This was after our lovely Abi had mentioned us to them...thank you Abi!! Sue, who organised it all said you were lovely and I have to agree!

Sue had sorted the flyers by roads that needed covering and with Daryl's knowledge of the road layout we soon had an efficient plan to make sure we didn't double up.... We set off and partnered up on each side of the road and soon had a beautiful system going. Darting in and out of each house, one past the other in a form of indian file.

I'm pretty sure we distributed over 500 flyers just the 4 of us. Pretty amazing work. Especially as we made sure we covered all the roads we had to and were prepared to get back past our finishing time.

In the end we arrived back 15 minutes late but feeling great after running 10.5km. Fresh air and not that cold at all. Thank you guys for coming out and spending time doing good!

See you all next week as we head to Shelter for our first ever collaboration with them. Sign up here
