Find out about GoodGym TaskForce
Despite the weather tonight a super keen 13 runners came along and our starting point for the evening was St Johns church in Bathwick street a target spot for some litter picking.
A very warm welcome to Bee and James joining us for their first Gg run, Bee after her first introduction post quiz night social, plus it means some RED LACES for Lucy so a win win situation.
Perfect to run with at least one hill (we are in Bath after all) so with warm up out of the way we ventured along to Pultney street for some sprint 3's to really wake those legs up. Out first litter pick spot was St Johns church, we didn't bank on finding a pigeon and for a moment our resident vet Nicola thought it was still alive but alas it was too late. James got lucky too finding a child's musical book and a pair of pliers. Steve almost vanished to the pub but had a change of heart (he was after all chief bag carrier for his team). Then on to hedge mead park ... A STEP OR TWO in the right direction to see what rich pickings my little troops could collect up.
Enough time left for some strength and toning in the form of a circuit session. A few grunts and groans but everything is good with Goodgym Bath and the aim to have the BEST BUNS IN BATH .. It's what we're famous for, don't you know.
Thanks to Steve for tonight's pun and Mary our lovely back marker keeping everyone safe at the rear.
If you wish to get your very own isolated older person to keep you motivated on a run, speak to myself or Emily and we will make it happen.
