2 Goodgymers helped an isolated person in Hackney
1 / 4

I met Katie on a pleasant Monday evening, our task was to clear out a room for Mrs A. She is due to get a hospital bed within the next few days but the room it was due to go in was occupied by a bed and a small sofa.

We were so eager to crack on with the task that we had taken the sofa down 2 flights of stairs (expertly maneuvered by Katie who recently had to do some furniture shifting of her own) before I realised we hadn't taken a before picture. The bed frame required dismantling and fortunely the only tool needed was an Allen key which Mrs A had at hand.

After taking all the dismantled bits downstairs we went to say our farewells and were rewarded with cold Fanta and a visit by Mrs A's 15 year old cat!
