It was a(nother) chilly night as we headed out to the hotel steps for our warm-up for this evening's run and task but there was no dampening the team's spirits as we were so thrilled to be joined by Isha on her birthday and Deb from Bristol - yes, all the way from Bristol, making Tower Hamlets the 32nd GoodGym AREA she's visited!

We headed just around the corner, with a little detour, to Weaver's Adventure Playground (thanks to Isha and Steve for brilliant route navigation, and to Bryon for locating the tucked-away play area in the dark!

On arrival, Alex our task owner, had set up plenty of equipment so there were rollers, gloves and painting trays for all, so the huge hall was completed by the team in under half an hour... The team didn't pause for breath and when the painting was finished, went on to lend a hand in helping Alex and I clear a space for our Fit-in-15 session. We played our favourite 'shout out a body part you want to work on' - thanks to Natalie for her upper body contribution and Hannah for her core request. The team proceeded to embrace the scorpion push-up, grasshopper push-up, our favourite gliding plank, finishing with the gruelling Pilates Roll Up.

Alex then filled us in on next week's task (shifting woodchip in wheelbarrows - in the daylight...Yippee!) before we headed back to base, managing to catch every light on RED, finishing with our Hotel-step-stretching, in record time as the temperature seemed to continue to plummet.

Thanks to the team, for getting so much done - as Alex explained, it would have taken him ages to finish what you achieved - and for your can-do attitude, as always, with helping out with best routes, reminding me to take the group pic(!) and for making it so much fun. It was a really fabulous night tonight.
