08:00 - 10:00Joining Planet Patrol, this mission will include jumping onto a paddleboard, grabbing a litter picker and navigating up the Great River Ouse to help the local team clear the river bed and banks from rubbish.
This task has a charge of £10 and tickets will need to be purchased by each Goodgymer. Your ticket will include equipment and a paddleboard 😁.
The location is in Kempston - a mile or so west of Bedford. I will take my car and have space for 4 passengers. If we get more than 5 signups we can look to organise further car options.
As we need to buy tickets in advance I will put a close date of 31 August to register and then we can get everything sorted in good time.
You will get wet!! So dress appropriately and bring a change of clothes. You ought to be comfortable on open water, although participants will be provided with a life jacket of course.
