Life begins at Fourtree
8 GoodGymers made their way to help the Glasshouse Community Centre in Tower Hamlets.
- Sunday, 14th of March 2021
- Led by Leo
On a bright but cold spring afternoon runners Leo (our taskforce leader), Farah, Ellen, Ceiling, Stephen, Laura, John and myself met at our usual rendezvous point of the Glasshouse for details of our latest task - planting four trees around the Parkview estate. During our introductions GG regulars welcomed newcomers Ellen and Farah to their first mission with us (may it be the first of many!)
We then paired off to plant edible fruit trees and daffodil bulbs in our designated areas. As we walked around the estate some of us also got the opportunity to appreciate the blooming daffodils from previous GG planting missions a few months earlier -always great to see for ourselves the difference we make for the communities we volunteer for!

Great report, Sree. Well done, everyone, for a brilliant Sunday task, especially to Leo for leading. I hear you did superbly well today.
Thankyou Laura!
I concur - Leo did a great job leading yesterday
