Every year we support the Chase the Pud Santa Race (which this year is on the Knavesmire on Sunday 7th December) which is not only great fun but raises lots of money for BHF.

So to get lots of folk to sign up and enter the race we will be taking over York parkrun on Saturday 8th November, filling as many volunteer roles as possible and dressing up as Santa (costumes will be provided). We will use the opportunity to make a big fuss about the race and encourage as many parkrunners to sign up as possible.

If you’ve not done a parkrun or volunteered before that’s no problem - all roles are super easy and we have everything from marshal to timekeeper or barcode scanner.

It will be great fun and it’s in a great cause so please sign up here if you can volunteer.

And if you’d like to run the Chase the Pud yourself then check out the details here: https://racebest.com/races/63kga
