Chop, scratter, press and repeat
8 GoodGymers made their way to help the Oxford City Farm in Oxford.

Eight hardcore GoodGymers braved the elements to help at Oxford City Farm’s Pumpkin Sale and Apple Pressing event.
Wrapped up against the rain, (and most of us sporting our Oxford Half caps!) we helped to chop, scratter (mush up) and press mountains of apples into delicious juice and did shifts in the kitchen selling pumpkin soup and a splendid array of homemade cakes.
A special welcome to Amy who came all the way from Maidenhead and Vanessa, joining us for the first time.
Culinary props go to Rachel for coming up with the idea to add mulled apple juice to the refreshments list – so tasty!
We are really pleased that we will be able to link up with Oxford City Farm in the Spring and Summer next year. It is such a gorgeous space, run by a lovely welcoming team, and I for one am especially intrigued by their pizza garden!
