Picking in the rain 🌧
7 GoodGymers made their way to help their local community in Bexley.

After weeks and weeks of limited GG activity in Bexley, aside from a few zoom quizzes, today we made up for it with missions and community missions. Sarah and Johnny had already completed a mission to help tidy a garden as we met at a safe distance in Danson Park ready for a plog/litter pick. Luckily the park has more than enough room for us to maintain the social distance guidelines. We all grabbed a litter picker and shared bags between us as we split into groups and headed into the park. The park has been getting increasingly busy over the last few weeks and result of picnics and gatherings seemed to be a lot of bottle tops, cigarette ends and the little gas canisters that seem to be everywhere. We didn’t manage to avoid the rain, but likely it was a lighter shower than yesterday! With 4 bags of rubbish we all made our way back home.
Keep safe 👊🏻 Sarah
