They said it would rain. It looked like it would rain. It felt like it would rain. But rain never falls on GoodGym Liverpool!* So our super 16 ran over 4km to make a community garden ship shape.

Having been on my jollies for the last 2 Group Runs, it was a pleasure to be back at the helm, steering the good ship GoodGym Liverpool to another first rate evening of running and good-deeding.

Our gentle 2km-ish run to the Greenhouse Project was only challenged when we had to dodge a rat. Yes, a rat. And a big one at that! But we were unperturbed and reached the project in good time.

We'd visited the Greenhouse Project on a sunny evening a few weeks back and made a solid start at cleaning and tidying their brilliant community garden at Tiber Square on Lodge Lane. We returned to finish what we had started and the team got stuck in straight away.

Shout out to Jo who we haven't seen for a while but were mighty happy to welcome back.

After weed finished weeding (teehee), we utilised the newly clean and tidy square for a quick fitness session, thinking about pacing. On the way back, we stopped in the park for a quick game of Follow The Leader which challenged our balance and speed variation as well as raising our pulses!

Great work team. It's good to be back. Join me next week for a trip to Everton Park and in the meantime, don't forget to check out what Community Missions are coming up here.

*Not factually correct.

P.S. Kudos to Tim for the title pun :)
