5 Goodgymers went to Team Springboard to help out with a range of tasks on the allotment. It was a surprisingly warm day, so after some weeding mare’s tail from around the remaining courgette plants we retreated into the shade of the apple trees to pick up fallen fruit and admire the beautiful shiny apples. We also had a cup of tea and a biscuit and a chat with some of the regular volunteers. Special thanks to Nigel for making another pallet bench for the allotment visitors.
