This evening we came together for one of our longest runs as a group since starting Goodgym Bexley. This shouldn't put anyone off though as we never leave anyone behind on our group runs. So we headed off with a rolling warm up so not to lose time with Susan doing an awesome job leading the way whilst i looked after the back marking. The weather was very humid but it was a lovely evening for a group run and a chat. To take my mind off the run I love to observe everyones running nad technique and i'm so pleased how everyone is progressing week on week out. Well done gang................ After around 22 minutes and a bit of a hill we were soon greeted by John at the Animal Protection Shop. Thanks so much for the water. it was so appreciated. After our light refreshment it was time to focus on the job in hand. Splitting up into two groups we had those weeding and those sorting. The weeders headed out the back to the garden and set about blitzing, sweeping and rubbish clearing. Our inside team were sorting donated clothes for a couple of shops in the area. You will be surprised how much can be done in such a short time by the Bexley Goodgym gang. After 40 minutes of hard work it was time for our group photo and our journey home. Oh, Oh, the summers nights are leaving us. We came out the shop to darkness, but let me say it wasn't a bad thing as this made the run back very enjoyable as different from the hot sunny runs we have been doing over the last few months. Well after 22 minutes or so we were back at base camp Crooklog for our cool down and a chat about our next weeks task. Its going to break all Bexley Goodgym distance records, and its definitely going to be the most unusual task we've done to date so make sure you don't miss it. Kate we are going to miss you next week, but make sure you have the most awesomeness holiday and we can't wait to hear all about it when you get back....... Tonights Heroes were:- TANYA - JANINE - FIDELLIS - KATE - SUSAN - SARAH and ME
