We met Jonathan from St Nick's at the Bad Bargain Lane end of the path that GG York have previously worked on. Myself and Nick were the last to arrive and were pleasantly surprised at the continuous stream of GG faces that appeared from down the path.

The big pile of limestone was shovelled and spaded (is that a verb?) into a regular flow of wheelbarrows that were then taken down to Val who was doing a sterling job of raking it on top of the liner and making a very neat looking path (with Digby the puppy's help). Even Egg managed to hobble down the path with a full wheelbarrow - she is the Bionic Woman!

After about an hour we had covered the liner and filled the gap. However, there is still more of the path to do and GG York will be back another time to complete it. Jonathan's next task for us was to dig up some clumps of bog type grass (that are no longer sitting in a bog) so that they can be planted over at St Nick's next week. We had about 20 minutes and managed to fill up several wheelbarrows full of grasses with good clumps of soil around the roots to keep them happy until they are replanted.

Mitch sat on top of what was left of the rubble and profoundly said he was contemplating eating a scone so Egg took a lovely photo of him to capture the moment!
