Eight chirpy volunteers met at the top of the steps on Saturday to find that some local trees had moved into the space we cleared. This is a tremendous milestone for the project, and the NSI are very pleased with GoodGym’s contribution.

With room to play, we focused our efforts on some of the deep litter pockets that are now accessible. A cache of naughties pop CD’s was discovered, and whilst The Calling or Pink's time in the limelight might be over , we don't think they deserve the bramble bush as a final place to rest. Off to the tip!

The most interesting find was a bizarre animal skull. Donning on our zooarchaeology hats, we concluded we had no idea what it was and maybe stick to bramble slashing. Photos were sent off to the lab for further investigation and I would hedge a bet the cause of death was listening to the rest of The Calling's album.

Between the speedy sything, legendary litter pickeing and laudable loppering, we made another large dent in the overgrowth, and the space is looking nicer and nicer each time we visit. Thanks for coming along everyone, great effort as always! :)
