Watering Trees in Wigmore
Growing a new orchard
Location

Date and time
18:45 - 20:30This week we'll be meeting up on Bute Street, opposite the Hat Factory by the giant orange LUTON sign before heading out to our task in Wigmore Park.
Konni of the Luton Orchards Project needs our help there to water some fruit trees that were planted to create a new orchard. With the dry weather the last couple of months it's really critical that these young trees get support while they establish themselves. The task should be fairly simple, ferrying water by the bucket from the allotment fence and over to the trees!
It's 4.5 km out to the orchard so there's not enough time for walking this week but you can always join by bike if you don't fancy the run!

New to GoodGym?
This is a GoodGym group run, where we run to help a local community organisation and then run back.
New GoodGymers are welcome to GoodGym group runs - no one gets left behind. You're unlikely to be alone, hundreds of new people sign up every week.
