Today I was to collect Ms. E’s prescription, and buy her some lightbulbs 💡.

The chemists didn’t have the stuff ready yet and may not for a few days, but with several builder’s merchants in the neighbourhood, the light bulbs were a cinch.

Since lockdown I’ve been getting notes through the door from kind neighbours offering help to those who might be self-isolating. I’ve been texting the people to say thanks-but-no-thanks, and then go on to plug GoodGym to them as a way they can keep doing good after this is all over. They were all receptive, and am glad to say some had heard of GG already 🥳. With the notes they put through otherwise headed for the recycling ♻️ and the Mission quite close to home, I took them along to Ms. E today, and gave them to her along with her lightbulbs.

She’s just come out of hospital and not that mobile, so perhaps some of these people will be able to help her too...
