The Junior ParkRun had a total 14 volunteers today which is a really good turnout, so we were able to take it a bit easy and do just one role each. Amongst them were quite a few volunteering for the first time, and one of the runners leading the warm-up. After a bit of shuffling, Kat and I were assigned to marshalling and handing-out finish tokens respectively.

Kat had the best spot on the course at the last corner before the finish, so got to be the one cheering the runners down the last straight to the finish.

Across the 32 runners there were 8 recorded PBs and 8 first-timers (which is effectively a PB) so in total half the runners got PBs!
