It was great to get out to Millennium Green today with 4 of the trustees to do a spot of weeding. A large ‘spot’ in fact in the shade of a high wall we were able carve a large scar out of some chest-high nettles and grass with just shears and a rake.

We also gave a quick trim to any green stuff that was escaping out onto the pavement (eyed suspiciously but one of the stray cats from next-door) and marvelled at a lovely fairy ring of toadstools that had come-up under the trees.
