A litter of Chrises!
9 GoodGymers made their way 4.2km to help the Petersham Common Conservators in Richmond.

Ten runners met in Richmond at the Tap Tavern at 18:45 and ran 2.5 km to meet Ken where we were working to help the Petersham Common Conservators control litter mainly along the roads that collects onto the side of Petersham Common. Ken handed out high viz vests, litter pickers and binbags and gave us a task of finding the weirdest thing collected to win chocolate. With headtorches on we paired up and made our way in the night to collect litter. In no time we had filled our first bin bags and were onto our second bag. After 45 minutes and around 12 bin bags of litter collected, we meet Ken back at our start point outside Petersham Farm to hear what the weirdest thing collected was. One person found an ashtray, one person found a full pint glass (full of what?!) and another claimed an ancient piece of Roman pottery. For certain reasons we probably shouldn't document what won the weirdest prize, but if anyone wants to discretely ask Sam or Ken on the next run, we'll be more than happy to share! With chocolate duly distributed we ran 2km back to The Tap Tavern to finish up for the night.
A big shout out to Chris who joined us for his first good deed and brought our quota of Chrises up to three for the night!
