Judy and I covered the afternoon shift and were overwhelmed with the generosity of the patrons of Tesco!

The coordinator from the food bank arrived whilst we were there and was impressed with how assertive we were with asking for donations and left us to it!

We also ended up acting as troubleshooters for customers, arranging wet floor signs, in-store cleaners, clearing trip hazards, sourcing baskets and directing folk to which escalator was working. Maybe next time we'll get Tesco uniforms too?
