Paul and I arrived at the task with precision timing ready to get on with a good bit of gardening.. But first I showed off my strength by unscrewing a particularly stubborn hot water bottle cap! Then it was off to the back garden to trim back an overgrown bush, rescue a rose from some weeds that were crowding in on it and pick up lots of fallen apples. With these tasks complete we finished up the hour by weeding some flower beds and sweeping up the paths. With the green bin almost full it was time to say goodbye and head back home with a plan to gather more troops and return soon to get stuck into some serious weeding at the back of the garden.
