A walk down Memory Lane...does that count towards the January Challenge?
1 GoodGymer made their way to help their local community in Liverpool.

As the sun was setting, and wearing my BLUE GG t-shirt, courtesy of fellow GoodGymer, Rita Borg, I arrived at Mr J's, rather later than usual after being called in to work at short notice. Cycling the two miles there, my pace was slow as the temperature dropped, and ice crystals began to form on the still damp roads.
The supermarket was busy, but the list was shorter than usual. Not all items were available and some substitutions had to be made, but Mr J was happy with the haul.
We had a chat about the latest lockdown, and aired a few thoughts on the subject (not for publication)...🤔 Mr J's attitude is to 'carry on, regardless'. He had been sheilding throughout last year, and is quite resigned to his situation.
His hobbies have kept him occupied, and his mind alert, although he has had a 6 week break from his model making. As a result, he now has a backlog of parts for eight unfinished (or not yet started) models.
Mr J now feels ready to take up the challenge once more, and will be tackling a Spitfire and Ghostbusters' car, over the coming weeks...watch this space, as we may get to see the finished articles 👍
We chatted some more about childhood toys and how we wished we'd kept some of them...'They'd be worth a bob or two now', he mused. Sadly, I am of the same opinion and throw very little out - which is why I have a loft full of Action Man figures and paraphernalia, scores of model cars, miniature houses, Duplo, a set of magazines and parts to build a 'Real Robot', and many more items that have been kept in the hope that they will one day be 'worth a bob or two...' 😁
Bidding Mr J farewell, I slowly made my way home, clocking up another couple of kms for Team Nicky Spinks 😁😉👍
