Emma, Yangki and I all took an extra long lunch break today to give Mr W a hand with his over grown garden. Mr W was a delight, he told us stories of his garden and house which his grandma had bought when she was young. Mr W had been a keen gardener but sadly is no longer able to. Over the last 3 years the garden has grown over with brambles and ivy. The 3 of us started work hacking back the weeds and as we did Mr W would pop out and point out plants we had uncovered that his parents and grandparents had planted. We found Sage, Rosemary, Bluebells and a beautiful tree that had been totally engulfed in ivy.

We did an hour of work and made a huge pile at the back of the garden. There is still a lot to be done but Mr W was happy with what we had achieved.
