On the hottest day of the year so far I caught the rays on a run to ms G's house and was met at the door by her very welcoming cat. That's already a winning mission. We had a fascinating chat on the doorstep about all the amazing places Ms G has lived - including Fiji and Italy - before I got a carefully typed up list and set off for Lidl. The second challenge was making it back to the house before the ice cream melted, which I think I just about managed.
