A first time GG shop for Miss J, so it was a quick chat on the sofa for her to explain exactly what she needed before I headed out. I asked if she had a preferred shop, and she asked if I was familiar with the area...I admitted I wasn't but knew roughly where the nearest supermarkets were. Her list wasn't too daunting, containing the absolute life essentials of bread and milk, so I was pretty confident I'd track down what she needed.

Only after I returned with everything did she explain that her neighbour's sister usually does her shopping...by ordering it on the internet for delivery to Miss J...from her home in the USA!! As her neighbour's sister has been in the UK these past few weeks, she hasn't been able to do the online ordering as she's been busy helping out her sister. The power of the interweb will never cease to amuse and amaze me in equal measure...
