Easter Saturday morning we turned up at Ms S's house, ready to transform her garden ready for the spring! Ms S lives with her disabled son and wanted her garden spruced up. So we set to work - David mowed the lawn (being sure to leave the pretty bluebells where they were), and I did a lot of weeding. Biggest learning? Always ask the person whose garden it is what they think of as a weed - Ms S had stricter weed rules than me! David also trimmed the hedge in the front garden so Ms S could have more light in her front room, and see out into the street. It was a sunny morning and great to be outside, doing some gardening and chatting. David is currently training for the Edinburgh marathon in May, and he only got back into running through joining GoodGym Wandsworth six months ago! Ms S gave us some excellent Indian chai with Spanish biscuits, and after a couple of hours we were finished and she was delighted.
