Find out about GoodGym TaskForce
It was a dark Monday evening, but that did not deter twenty GoodGym-ers from assembling in order to head down to Chisenhale Primary School to help them with their outside space. A short pacey jog there and we were greeted by four two-tonne bags full of... Sand. Despite comments along the lines of "No way we'll get this done", in thirty short minutes (and a few admirable but pretty naff sandcastles later!), the school's sandpit was transformed with the addition of a LOT more sand. After a quick play on the equipment (young at heart...), we set off for the canal.
Tom, confusing us for some of his GB runners, decided to set us a couple of challenges that particular evening. The first being a timed run: six minutes away and then back in less time. Not so bad - that would have sufficed. But no. Not with Tom Craggs around. To finish our evening and ensure tired muscles galore, ninety seconds of sprints to get those hearts racing. We felt like we had done good and had a solid workout! So, to the Arch for stretching and warm-down. Except, when we arrived, we were met by a weird smoky substance. That will teach someone for leaving a dry ice machine around!
Until next time.

Sounds like a great task and run. Great effort.
