Wow it was crazy, busy at the Baby Bank this week. Back to School!!! As always it’s great to help out at this worthwhile charity. Jen from Goodgym Slough joined me today and worked like a whirlwind. We sorted through an endless pile of school uniforms, which had been gratefully deposited. Ensuring all the clothing was clean and undamaged, we then proceed to put them into specific catagories and placed them onto the racking to be selected for their new owners. It was a hive of activity as the donations and collections were non-stop. Jen and I got into a great working routine and managed to move a mountain of of clothing.

Providing essentials to families in extreme need

The Baby Bank collects donations of good quality clothes, equipment, and furniture to help families in extreme need. They provide essentials ranging from everyday items like nappies, and wipes to larger items like cots. They support families beyond the baby stage, for example with school uniform. They aim to give all children the best possible start in life.
