GoodGym group runs are back after a long hiatus and was great to have some people joining us at GoodGym for the first time. Welcome to GoodGym and thanks for your help today Elizabet, Nadia, Richard, Danny and Amy.
We set off from 1000 Trades with Liam at the front and me as backmarker and ran to Livery Street where we joined the canal. Apart from a small spot in the middle, our adopted section of the canal was very tidy which shows the good work that GoodGym have been doing there in recent times. So we decided to pick more litter on the way to leaving the bags at Aston Lock, and managed to fill four large bin bags of rubbish.
After leaving Aston Lock we headed to Millenium Point where we were originally meant to be doing a mile time trial, but due to the hot weather, decided against this - probably a wise thing to do! So from there, we headed back to 1000 Trades to finish our run, running around 4.1 km in total.
Well done to everyone who came and for running in this heat, and thanks for your hard work.
