Four runners, Janet, Sue, Keith and Lea, turned up to join The Planet Doctors and The Secret Garden volunteers to help the Grow Your Own Garden project with their latest project Crop Swap.
One garden needed “a bit of rubbish” cleared out first, but for the rest: Lots of wheelbarrows needed to be filled with soil and compost, wheeled around to lots of gardens, to then be emptied in garden beds. Lots os steps involved as the gardens were spread out over quite a few roads. Dirty hands, dirty pants but many happy members of the community!
