Blinds-aided
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Camden.
- Sunday, 21st of April 2024
Sevan and Kash ran to Ms L, whom they had known from their earlier missions, wondering whether a simple window measuring task would turn into an epic adventure such as paperwork sorting with a freezer move twist.
Ms L was in pain after her hip replacement and also found it difficult to use both hands to do things like measuring windows. That's why she had hired GoodGymers to make sure she could provide the right dimensions for the company selling window blinds.
"I need new blinds. Since the trees outside are gone, it's like a sauna here in the summer!"
The simple task turned out to be - unexpectedly - a simple task! In 10 minutes Sevan and Kash noted down the dimensions of the kitchen and Iiving room windows - just in time to say hi to Ms L's lovely dog coming back from a walk before they left. Fingers crossed Ms L's blinds will come in the right size and will remedy the greenhouse effect in her flat.
