It's been less than two weeks since the uneven pavement near Acton Town tried to kill me. Now it attacked again, leaving me no longer fit for running tonight. That's clearly not my lucky route. I was late to Mr G, who almost lost hope that I would arrive 5 minutes after the mission start time! But here I was, risen from the pavement and risen to the task 🫡

After some faff to mend my knee and hand, I've done the shopping and hobbled back to Mr G, not bringing him either kale or broccoli - both identified as not tasty greens. I bought Mr G his favourite savoy cabbage, with enormous, curly outer leaves sticking out in a scandalous manner.

"Look at this cabbage! It looks like my brain. And I slept only four hours tonight." - said Mr G, shoving the monster into the fridge.

I helped him put the rest of the groceries into the refrigerator as his back was hurting, and then we removed a few items that were out of date. Poor Mr G was not eating much recently, so the milk and a couple of ready meals had gone bad.

You might have thought that I left the premises after the end of the task, but not this time! I stayed for a double mission for Mr G as the weeds in his garden had gone rampant. Hold tight!
