It takes more than a bout of chicken pox to disrupt GoodGym Bristol - swapping our planned visit to the Southville Centre with a task at our favourite cemetery park, Brunswick in somewhat drizzly weather.
Jo was there to meet us with an ominously empty one-ton dumpy sack and we set about chopping back a brambly corner and maintaining a previously tidied pathway. The sun may not have shone on the righteous but at least the rain stopped as we removed some monster brambles, catching loads of them just before they rooted to create further havoc next spring.
Much chatter was had, continuing with the run back (everyone voted for the shortest route three and back) and popping into workout for a glass of our favourite tipples to keep us chatting into the darkness - time to dig out those head torches!
