10 Goodgym folks logged on for our weekly Saturday morning coffee catch-up via Zoom, mostly with hot drinks, breakfasts and laptops in hand.
Graham was first online, still fully kitted out in running kit after a spin around the block. James and Steve C also have running plans, setting off for a half marathon training run from Camden to Regents Park inner circle tomorrow morning (as part of the Hackney Moves for Heroes virtual run). A few of our team will also be participating in the Goodgym 48-hour Relay Challenge too, starting on Saturday 23rd May (12 midday) and running consistently until Monday 25th May (12 midday).
Caroline joined us too, after an early morning essay homework project before an an assessment next week. Plenty of time to enjoy the rest of the Bank Holiday weekend now! Alex from Goodgym Greenwich logged on to say Hi as well- lovely to catch up.
John and Steve C mentioned that in a different world, a major live football game would be on today- very strange to remember this! Kike decided against long cycles today due to the strong winds that have been scheduled, and advised against taking the risk on busy roads (very sensible). We also chatted about the best options for combining running and cycling now we can leave our immediate neighbourhood- are "Boris Bikes", "Lime Bikes" or "Jump Bikes" worth trying?
Some fantastic breakfasts were being produced live during our meeting- James made some delicious bread for the weekend (we all believe he should open a bakery) and some scrummy looking scrabbled eggs, whilst Graham whipped up a tomato goulash type dish before enjoying it in his garden.
Sign up here to join us next week!
Great to catch up folks! Have an awesome Bank Holiday weekend!

Tbh I don't think I've watched a Cup Final since about 1991.
