Find out about GoodGym TaskForce
Report written by Effie
(Title to the tune of Bring Sally Up, Bring Sally Down)
After a few moments of Effie wondering round the building to find the entrance, we met up and called up to Mr E. On seeing us arrive, Mr E doubted our strength to get the sofa in to three parts, out of the door, down in the lift and out to the collection pile, we assured him that GoodGym had given us enough practice and got to work.
It took a few attempts to navigate through the door, we finally worked out the secret to escaping with the sofa was to open a second door and move the CD stand with an eclectic mix of ornaments. We shifted all of the sofa parts out to the landing quite quickly and then had a long wait for the large lift. Every time we called the lift the small one turned up and we had to send it back down.
We finally managed to get in the lift, with two bits of the sofa and some artful hurdling from Hannah. We made sure to hang on to our big lift back up to the 13th floor for the final piece of the puzzle.
Once all three pieces were on the ground floor we made light work of getting the sofa out the front door and round to a place the council could collect it from. We also spotted that a local plant thief had been active in the area - watch out if you're planning any gardening!
Now with the empty space Mr E can get a higher seated chair, making it much easier for him to sit down and get back up out of.

Great mission Hannah and Effie! Sounds like Mr E's furniture was in very good hands.
