Two runners from Barnet attended Hft assisted living centre to help Holly the volunteer coordinator to build a flat pack herb garden and add the plants. As usual it took a while for the 3 of us to understand the plans but Simone soon took charge and made sure it was built to perfection. It was just then a matter of adding a couple of potted herbs and seeds. The real challenge came when we needed to water the plants as we didn’t have a watering can so after trying a container with holes switched to a large yoghurt pot. Some gaps have been left on the planter for the residents to add there own herbs. Time will tell of our efforts will thrive
