Report written by Michael
The first Goodgym Cardiff & the Vale Community Mission since lockdown finished and completed after being posted only Yesterday.
Running The Long and Winding Road, like a Helter Skelter Andrew and Mikey met All Together Now. Mikey nearly arrived too early so decided to Slow Down, finally it was time to pick a site – There’s a Place, now let’s go as Bute Park says – Don’t Let Me Down.
Now to get used to this new way of doing Goodgym tasks, firstly we have to Get Back and keep to social distancing, it may seem strange, but We Can Work It Out. All gloved up and bags in hand we set off saying to the litter I’ll Get You, we don’t care if it feels like A Hard Day’s Night.
Let It Be - Never
With the beautiful weather that we have been experiencing a lot of people have Come Together to use the park, goodgym are here to Help. Once we had found our spot it was time to crack on, both of us thinking I’ll Follow the Sun, we didn’t find an Old Brown Shoe, but did find a dogs lead (we hope), plastic galore, cans, is this a bus Ticket to Ride? Yes It Is, a Day Tripper.
Things We Said Today, what we have been up to during lockdown, how we’ve made the most of our extra time, what we’ve enjoyed and what we will be doing when lockdown restrictions are reduced more in Wales.
45 minutes and we had filled two bags, now to find a bin to leave them by but as we found one 1 runner was tempted to throw a bag but instantly heard their inner voice saying You Can’t Do That, I Should Have Know Better. Whilst the other runner ’s inner voice simple said Ob-La-Di Ob-La-Da. And before we knew it, our task was over. It felt like all we had done was say Hello, Goodbye.
