Report written by Bill Edmonds
Katy and Bill went can spotting along the winter hedgerows of the Bure Valley where, at this time of year, there is a good variety of tins and plastic to see. Today the Fosters can was particularly common and could easily be spotted hiding in ditches and perching in the bare branches of brambles and hawthorns. Sadly, many of these colourful cans fall victim to passing traffic and several corpses had to be lifted off the muddy tarmac or prised from grassy banks and put into our 2 sacks, taken home and given a wash before being given a new lease of life via the recycling bin. Despite this we know that many more will return to the site for our next visit.
