LOADS of brilliant runners ran to help the Moorlands Estate and Brixton Road Youth Centre, did a balance game, ate Bake Off goods and then went to the pub

OH DARK NIGHTS ARE UPON US! But never fear because Tom Benson has a big bright light that he takes to tasks so everyone can see what they are doing. Last night he went with a group led by Sarah, who just got back from Canada, eh? to the Moorlands Estate. This is an offshoot project from Loughborough Farm creating an allotment in some disused land on the estate. It's a lovely space and we have been helping them spread woodchip throughout the summer. We did some more woodchip spreading and Judy even took some pumpkin leaves home for tea. NICE

Fantastic job woodchipping paths! Said Karen the task leader

The rest of us headed down to Brixton Road Youth Centre. We support this space to keep tidy both inside and out. Short run team set about clearing out an entire room so that it can be turned into a kitchen. Long run team cleared up the yard so that it is free from leaves and all tidy. A small group stayed behind to wrestle with a cabinet and get it through a small door.

On return to Papa's, we played Stuck in the Mud but you had to hold a balance. We had dancer, tree and single leg squat poses. We ran around a lot and it was quite dark so felt a bit dangerous. OOOH.

We finished with some stretches and some DELICIOUS caramel-based goods from George and Elle for week 4 of Bake Off. We then went for our monthly trip to the pub where we drank drinks and ate food and generally had a lovely time.

We all envied Rebecca for winning September's Shit Prize of the Month - a CD of traditional Scottish songs that David won for whistling Oh Flower of Scotland at their gig and a Gordon Ramsey food cool bag. Interesting!
