With my regular Friday morning gym session cancelled, this meant that I could get my arm workout done through a GoodGym mission instead! So, at 8 this morning, I met up with Dom for a mission in Lambeth for Mrs M. Woot! 🎉

Mrs M is currently in hospital after suffering a spinal fracture from a fall last month. She's scheduled to be released on Tuesday, but first needs a hospital bed installed in her living room. This time, it was the turn of a two seater sofa to vacate the room to make space for the hospital bed.

After exchanging pleasantries with Mrs M's brother (who also kindly let us in), we got to work. Armed (legged) with my brand new sofa-moving socks (see photos - 😎), it was a breeze to glide the sofa across the room, L-shape it through the door and squidge it into an alcove underneath the stairs. I'm not saying that the socks gave me sofa-moving superpowers, but they definitely helped.

We also had plenty of time to admire the vast amount of cat paraphernalia Mrs M had while subsequently reorganising the living room (large sofa to the glass door/windows, recliner chair to near the TV). While I was particularly taken with the tinsel cats (they reminded me of a previous mission), Dom's favourite seemed to be some rather more aristo-cat-ic felines on the window sill. There was really something for everyone (unless you don't like cats (so unless you're fictional)).

Job done, we made our goodbyes a mere 15 minutes after our start time. Hopefully the rest of the hospital release will go as smoothly for Mrs M! 😄
