Changing (Bread) Roles
2 GoodGymers made their way to help the The Active Wellbeing Society (TAWS) in Birmingham.
- Thursday, 7th of May 2020
- Led by John Hayes
We had two from GoodGym Birmingham out on the delivery rounds, and a bonus bit of representation inside the food hub today, as Taz was the shift manager. He has done 5 good deeds over the whole time of GG Brum, having been at the launch in 2017. He usually leads running groups around Birmingham as the coordinator of the running part of TAWS, and his role today shows how everyone in the organisation has had to respond and adapt to the challenges of the Covid-19 crisis.
As for our community mission today, Anthony had 10 drops. He found that more of the recipients were elderly, isolated and vulnerable. Tousif had 9 drops, of 15 bags in total.
Most of all, the people we are helping are uniformly grateful and it’s humbling to be involved with supporting them at this time.
Congratulations to Anthony for completing his 10th good deed today!
