The door to Ms F's building was ajar when I arrived. Guess who was at the doorstep. Ms F with her Chariot knocked down. If I ever had a rollator, I'd be proud to give it such a name!

I restored the Chariot to its glory by bringing it back to the upright position. Then I challenged Ms F to a race - not in chariots. We were racing each other to the 5th floor. Ms F took the lift, and I took the stairs. I think a more modern elevator would have beaten me to it, but not this one.

As I had known from my Monday mission, the fish counter in Ms F's local Waitrose was closed until further notice, so the lady made an exception and let me buy the ready-packed breaded haddock (but not the hake, which is not as delicious). In my native language, there's a saying: when there are no fish, even a crayfish is a fish. In Ms F's case, breaded chicken would do for a fish tonight, but I didn't have to resort to a substitute.

I bought a handful of other things, the most exciting being ready-made spinach dal, ginger beer and cos lettuce - the latter only so exciting because cos turned out to be a fancy name for romaine.

I finished the task with my favourite challenge: bringing a six-pack of mineral water to the 5th floor. I'm not sure if I'd be able to compete with the lift with that extra load!
