Wheeling it in

Light evenings, blue sunny skies and Spring has sprung!

Meeting at Splashpoint,Daisy, Craig, Sarah and I headed off through the town on a steady run to our task venue for this evening, Lindfield House, a residential home run by the Guild Care Charitable Trust.

John,Belinda and Ricky walked there and in the spirit of the Raleigh launch Gillybean cycled there!

On arrival we got stuck into some serious tidying and general maintenance of the pretty courtyard garden . Though (very) limited with the selection of tools we adapted and managed weeding , clearing planting and, oh, yes, you guessed it, some fine pruning by Gillybean !

As it was the first day of the Raleigh collaboration day we were treated to some yummy chocolates to celebrate. There will be plenty more for next week too! John particularly being fed 'guess the chocolate' by Sarah ha ha - looking at the photos this was possibly her most important task of the evening! Since the task everyone has also received the discount code too. Wheelie good times are ahead!

Finally,Craig ( aka Gregg) playfully pulled out some wooden stocks used for the last summer fair. John was unanimously voted to get into them - what a great sport he is and what a great end to the task.

We all retraced our means of transport back to Splashpoint or home with a quick diversion for Ricky and co who stopped at the pub for a quick pint !

Happy Days and loads more to come this year.

See you all next week - have a good one !

Julia xx
