What a fantastic effort by those who got out there this weekend and took samples of their local waterways to test water quality for the Earthwatch ThamesBlitz campaign which will help evaluate how the quality of water changing over time and where actions will be needed to address any pollution! A worthy cause!
Paul tested two sites and found it all rather relaxing and lovely reminiscing about doing chemistry in school! Well done Paul - A*!
Peter tested 4 sites at North-East London taking the sites of Higham Park, River Roding and Eagle Pond in Wanstead! Great job PvT!
Danny and Kat had an epic 24km exploration of Barnet to find a reservoir, a river, a stream and a pond to test water in! Fantastic effort you two!
Katrin has managed to get a family of ducks worried by going out to test at extremely low tide, which made for a muddy but worthy adventure! A job well done Katrin!
