Find out about GoodGym TaskForce
Report written by Manjit Birk
Tonight's task was a leaflet drop task for Slough Councils Cost of Living support and Special Voices Information Day taking place this week on Friday.
Leaflet tasks have been a bit thin on the ground over the past couple of years, maybe due to the whole world being more digitally aware, however, there are still households that can benefit from printed material so our deed tonight was to spread the information
We met at Upton Court Park with a taskforce strong team in Pam, Jen and Jean. Taskforce team are always good at making sure no one is ever leaflet out.
With task brief, safety brief and warm up done off we headed to the streets surrounding the park!
We walked up to Kings Reach estate and focused our efforts on this area.
What an a-maze-ing area it is too! I lost Jen a few times as we covered our patch. We must have done nearly 300 houses by the time we finished! or maybe it was 306... but either way we did a fair few!

It wasn't until the end of the task that Jen told us that tonight was her 300th task! Super well done to you Jen and all the efforts you put in!
Then we learn that Pam was on good deed 306 tonight! I'm in awe of your commitment to GoodGym... well done
Next week we start our mini project helping Ujala Foundation and BBWOT with a community garden makeover.
It would be great to have as many of you as possible attend this session.
