Kudos to Tanya for a pun with a long story type of reason. What happens at GoodGym stays at GoodGym!

A cancelled (hopefully soon to be rearranged!) task meant we were out litter picking tonight as we wanted to take advantage of a calm, mild Monday. Two groups set out after a warm up that included running backwards (harder than you think) with Paul leading the runners while I took care of the walkers. The challenge tonight was really simple: which group can collect the most rubbish in 25 minutes?

It always baffles me how much litter we find on this Quayside route as its such an iconic place, yet we managed to pretty quickly fill two bags (the running group won!) with everything from bottles, cans and cups to a spoon and a canister of something that we still can't properly identify. We met back up at The Cycle Hub for a fitness session including the old ladders that we haven't seen at GoodGym for a few years. Hops, skips, trying not to fall over and some raised heart rates meant we finished this session strong tonight.

We are in action this Saturday with two community missions to choose from. If you're quick about it you could actually drop in on both, so check out the listings. If not, we'd love to see you for a Stepney Banks stables session where we will hopefully be painting again, and then afterwards to celebrate - after 4.5 years- my 200th good deed!
