Cops and Ploggers
3 GoodGymers made their way 1km to help their local community in Kingston upon Thames.

Time for our third and final serving of helping at the MET Police, organising Christmas presents for disadvantaged children in the Borough. There was a last-minute change of events as some of the presents couldn't be accessed, meaning that they no longer needed as much help as anticipated. Ready to do good, we decided to divide and conquered with a dual community mission. Nicky headed back to the met police having previously been let out for good elf behaviour while Samia and Kate cleaned up their acts and the local surroundings of the Guildhall!
The third instalment of the mission and Nicky was now quite at home with what was required packing and labelling the last of 250 presents for local children on Santa’s nice list and working out who the elves still had to buy presents for on Monday.
Whilst Nicky was serving her time, Kate and Samia did their community service in the form of plogging. We didn't need to venture too far either - we filled two black binbags full with just a loop of the Guildhall. We reached and clambered as far as we could to reach the litter, but had to accept that some things were too far out of reach and we were also unable to lift up giant shrubs to reach the rubbish hidden beneath.
Two tasks for the price of one!
