4 GoodGymers walked and cycled their way to the Saturday morning mission at the Old Malden children's centre. The task involved putting up two shelving units for the store room.

Split in 2 teams - Emily and Claire / Rachel and Mel we worked out how to put the shelves together ensuring we were putting each shelf at the same height.

Once ready we moved them to the store room where Mel and Rachel worked out the best positions.

After filling the shelves it was mission accomplished.

A trash-tastic DIY mission to do a bit of good to our local environment, wherever we may be. Thanks for all those who got out there and battled storm Goretti to get the job done!

Goodgymers from Kingston and several other areas dropped off items for their local food bank to support people and families that need a little bit of help. Everything feels better when society works together.

Five hardy GoodGymers from Kingston, Merton, and Ealing braved a soggy journey, and a few navigational detours, to support Full Cycle tonight.

Despite the downpour, the team shifted into gear to tackle the list:

• Moving bikes and wheels upstairs.
• Sorting parts and pairing up a wheel load of pedals.
• Rolling tubes and flattening cardboard at a tyre-less pace.
• Braving the rain (again) to lug metal and tyres out for collection - truly spoke-tacular resilience.

Massive kudos for showing up and powering your way through the list of jobs. You’ve definitely earned a warm evening in and some serious January Challenge credit.
