Our job was to shift out an armchair and sofa so that Ms K can come home from hospital - it sounded simple enough! The armchair was shifted easily, but when it came to moving the large four seater out into the corridor, we were stumped! Lenka and I tried every possible rotation to get it though the door, pretzeling ourselves into impossible positions, but eventually had to admit defeat. Luckily Ms K's neighbour was there and she was able to call her to ask what she's like us to do. Eventually we settled on rearranging the furniture so the sofa could be placed out of the way to create enough room for the new hospital bed. While Lenka was still working hard putting the cushions back, I slacked off to say hello to Ms K's lovely black cat, Lucky - it's almost Halloween after all!
